Zeenya’s latest collection called Gratitude recently launched online and is a nod to the warm moments of reflection, thankfulness and positivity. New Zealand’s happiest activewear brand, Zeenya Clothing, was founded in 2014 with the aim of bringing joy and colour to Kiwi women’s workouts. That happiness comes through not just in the vibrant prints but also in the comfortable fits that are designed for performance and ease of wear.
The Gratitude range features four new prints including detailed botanicals, florals and abstract designs in playful colours that will add some fun to your workout. Each design is available across five different styles: a full-length legging, a capri length legging, a short, a racer crop and a weave crop.
Every piece is carefully made in New Zealand utilising Amini Sol Eco®, the first biodegradable nylon in the world, meaning Zeenya’s activewear is sustainable and good for their environment as well as good for your workouts. The brand’s ethos is less waste, less fuss, and they don’t prescribe to traditional fashion seasons so everything they do is limited edition. When it comes to Zeenya’s Gratitude collection the brand was inspired by the support and care given to their team by all their community, friends and family during the madness that has been 2020. Co-founder Chloe Wickman says the range is “A reminder to all of us to take time to appreciate who has our backs, and to enjoy the little things.”
Each of Zeenya’s activewear pieces has been thoroughly tested to make sure everything stays where it’s supposed to be while you’re working out. The brand has included some clever features to make each fit as comfortable as they can while ensuring the best performance.
The popular full-length leggings have a high waistband that can be kept up or folded over for two different looks, they are also super soft to the touch and move with you. The summery capri leggings finish below the knee and have the same adjustable waistband as the full-length version. Both styles of leggings offer mild compression to aid in muscle recovery and performance as do Zeenya’s shorts which finish mid-thigh.
When it comes to tops Zeenya have two different styles of crops that are perfect for every kind of workout. The racer crop has good bust coverage and a UV 80 sun protection factor, so you know that the eco-friendly fabric is great outdoors too. The weave crop also has good bust coverage and playful straps which criss-cross at the mid-back. Every piece in Zeenya’s range has thermal control and are quick drying and did we mention they’re handstand tested? So you know everything will stay in place even during yoga practice.
