Zambesi x Huawei’s stylish P10 collaboration

Zambesi have partnered with technology brand Huawei to celebrate the launch of the new P10 and P10 Plus smartphones. The result is a unique collection which is inspired by the gold, blue and black of the P10. “For this exciting collaboration, we have taken inspiration from the new Huawei P10 colour palette and created looks to complement the modern aesthetic embodied in the phones,” says Zambesi designer Elisabeth Findlay.

The Zambesi x Huawei collection is now display in Zambesi’s Auckland and Wellington store windows with the P10 also available in store to purchase. Shoppers who take a selfie with the window display and use #HuaweiP10NZ and #zambesi will go in the draw to win a P10 of their own.

The P10 is the world’s first phone to offer a Leica front camera to help users capture stunning photos which rival studio images in their quality. It also has a ‘Hyper Diamond Cut finish’ that repels fingerprints and results in a subtle reflective effect on the smartphone’s surface. Not to mention the P10 is the first smartphone in the world to offer Te Reo Māori as a standard language option.

“As culture and technology continue to intersect in every aspect of our world, we want to deliver new products and experiences that ultimately improve and enhance life,” says Roson Luo, General Manager Consumer Business Group HUAWEI New Zealand. “The new HUAWEI P10 and HUAWEI P10 Plus weave together the exceptional imaging capabilities of Leica and our stand-out design and hardware innovations to bring users a powerful device experience.”

Zambesi’s one-off collection in celebration of the P10 has the brand’s signature contemporary feel with luxe textural fabrics of merino wool, satin, and double silk organza gauze used to create modern, elegant garments. The striking images from this collection were shot by Marissa Findlay using the P10’s exceptional Leica camera.
