It can be hard to know where to start when it comes to Christmas gift shopping but we’ve put together some fashionable ideas to help you find a great gift for the women on your list.
Karen Walker’s cameo jewellery from $35 and Kagi pearl jewellery from $59
Jewellery is always a lovely place to start and there are a lot of local companies that make beautiful jewellery with pieces at every price range. Jewellery is one of those things that is all about personal taste so take note of the style that the person you’re buying for usually wears. We’re big fans of Karen Walker’s cameo jewellery which is really reasonable priced from $35, it’s been out for a little while now but we’re still keen on it along with all her other stunning jewellery collections and it’s a great choice for the younger women on your list.
Kagi is another of our favourite jewellery brands and their pearl pieces are just gorgeous. Pearls are a classic choice and don’t have to be expensive, we’re sure your mum would love a pearl brooch which are back in fashion or a pair of earrings.
Lonely loungewear from $125 and Willa & Mae sleepwear from $110
There’s nothing better than wearing something comfortable and stylish to lounge around home in and two companies that are doing this particularly well are Lonely and Willa & Mae. Lonely have developed a collection that specifically falls under the lounge category and is full of easy to wear pieces that have a casual feel. The striped pieces have a cool retro feel and their rompers and robes would be perfect to relax in this summer.
Silk is one of the most luxurious fabrics to wear and is oh so soft on the skin, Willa & Mae have the nicest silk on their sleepwear that we’ve come across in a long time, so we think their silk sleepwear pieces would be a wonderful choice to gift someone this Christmas.
Outfit by Ruby from $129 and Charlo outfit by Augustine from $119
Clothing is one of our favourite gifts to give and to receive especially with so many options out there. We love Ruby’s current Resort collection which has lots of perfect pieces for summer in seaside appropriate shades. They also have a stellar range of accessories and are a great place to shop for young women who like on trend pieces with a romantic feel.
Augustine have just dropped their latest Charlo collection which is full of colourful summer pieces in cheerful prints with a matching range of accessories. If you’re unsure of sizing, an Augustine kimono makes a great gift as they are one size fits all and flatter most shapes. There are a huge amount of fashion retailers out there but some of our other favourites are Caroline Sills, Sabatini, Isaac and Lulu, State of Grace and Storm.
Marc by Marc Jacobs bag from Workshop and Dash bags from Saben $420
A handbag is a fabulous gift to receive, especially as it can be something that can be forgotten about (bag addicts aside that is) and a beautiful bag in a versatile colour is a good idea. Workshop is one of our favourite places to get a great range of international brands including Marc Jacobs, whose Marc by Marc Jacobs line is more affordable and has accessories like wallets and phone covers that match too.
Saben is another brilliant choice for bags and they have a wonderful range of colours, whether you’re after a clutch like the Tilly bag ($250) or something to hold everything like the Dash ($420). We love the luxurious leather and clever details on Saben’s bags.
Kate Sylvester swan mug $35 and Paris print from Mildred & Co $165
If you can’t decide on a fashion gift or are after something that’s more for the home, Kate Sylvester has some sublime mugs and swans that come in a charming range of colours and won’t break the bank. The gold embossed swan mug in blush is our favourite but it is also available in eggshell, black and ivory too. This could also be a good gift for pretty much any woman in your life. If you’re feeling confident about picking out something bigger we love this Paris print from Mildred & Co and is one of a great range of homewares they have available online. A print is a great way to brighten up a room and this one is small enough that is a subtle addition.
We hope you’ve found some inspiration on this list, Christmas is all about family and friends and as long as you keep their personal tastes in mind we’re sure they’ll love whatever you choose. Remember if you’re stuck it doesn’t hurt to ask what they would like, otherwise you could always make something yourself if you’re feeling crafty. Best of luck with your shopping.
