Winter Style on a Budget

FashioNZ recently attended the winter launch of The Warehouse fashion brands which included Garage and Maya, plus a collection of merino knits, accessories and footwear. With so much on offer, The Warehouse really is a one-stop-shop for fashion lovers on a budget.

Garage

Youthful and fun, the punk trend features in plaids, pleather, ripped denim and animal print.  Russian Dolls is another trend for Winter 2014. With its dark palette, romantic florals and soft knits and lace, this is one trend that’s easily brought to life.

Maya

The Maya brand is having some fun this season with animal prints. Leopard, zebra and vivid jacquards adorn soft knits and sweats. Femme Noir is the second trend spotted throughout the collection. We love the lavish adornment and rich wintery hues.

Merino

Merino basics are a must-have in the cooler months and The Warehouse range is  100% merino which is backed with the Woolmark assurance of quality. Colourful and bright, prices start from $20.

Shoes and accessories

Boots, boots and more boots – the perfect pair will help welcome in winter. The large selection includes ankle, knee high, pointy toe, wedge and 90s doc-style boots. Plus, they’ve even got a new range of leather ankle boots from $69

Complete the look from top to toe with a large range of accessories from statement necklaces or a must-have chunky chain from $12. Faux features in trims as do animal prints in bags. The Warehouse team is tipping the key handbag shape for the season to be the cross body style.

CLiO

Also on display was the CLiO range of tights, the perfect winter companion. The Italian black 200 denier Opaque tights are a FashioNZ fave. They’re thick and super comfy and at $12 each, it’s affordable to own a few pairs. The CLiO range also includes options slimming, tanned and some fun pairs such as these Pet Shop tights.
