Winter hair trends to try

New seasons inspire change, whether it be the colour of your hair or a fresh new cut. There is something so exciting about saying goodbye to your worn-out, sun-damaged, summer tresses and welcoming in a new do fit for the chilly winter months. This season, darker tones, short cuts and dainty hair adornments are trending so we picked out a few of our favourite hair trends for winter and rounded them up for you below.

Flicked out bob
Think chic 50’s housewife. This cute hairstyle was spotted on the runways of Chanel couture and Loewe and is turning out to be one of the biggest hair trends this season. Sleek at the top and flicked out at the bottom with a bit of texture through the ends. This is the perfect hairstyle and very achievable for those with bob or lob length hair.

Blunt fringe bob
The bob has made a comeback in a big way and paired with a blunt fringe this style oozes confidence. The key is to make sure the ends are all cut one length, looking blunt and solid. There is no room for texture or layers with this haircut.

Curtain fringe
Adding some textured, wispy curtain bangs to a cut gives it a chic, vintage vibe. Made popular in the ’60s by the likes of Brigitte Bardot, this fringe helps to shape the face without being too high maintenance. You can wear this look wispy or blunt with, the part in the middle makes it curtain-like.

Bronde
Is it blonde or is it brown? Why can’t it be both? The bronde colour is trending right now, made popular by celebs such as GiGi Hadid. This colour is very flattering on most skin tones and you can choose to lean more towards the lighter or the darker side of the two, dependant on what tones suits you best.
