Firstly, what is ‘T Beauty’?
T Beauty is short for Tongan Beauty, a skincare trend that is the foundation of Feniu. In the past, the people of Tonga have passed down beauty secrets through generations and now it’s time to share them with the rest of the world. T Beauty relies on a ‘less is more’ approach to skincare and much like K Beauty, focusses on ‘skin is always first’. However, it is not a complicated regime, it’s more like a 3-step that involves moisturiser, eye cream and skincare oil. T Beauty offers a range of products that use Tongan Coconut Oil as their hero ingredient, which is a nod to Tongan traditions.
Why is ‘T Beauty’ good for our skin?

What made you start a ‘T Beauty’ brand?
Growing up, Tongan coconut infused oils were used as moisturiser for our faces, body and hair. It was the only form of nourishment for the skin and beauty regime of a Tongan household in the islands. As I got older and had children of my own, I was only able to get this oil from relatives who would make it in Tonga. One day I had a vision to keep my culture’s traditions alive by continuing to provide Tongan coconut oil to future generations. I decided to go to Tonga to find a manufacturer and create my brand Feniu, which offers a coconut infused oil derived from Tongan coconuts. This took me on a three-year journey to build my brand that showcases the richness of Tongan culture, but also empowers the people of the land. As part of my mission to give back to the Tongan community, I engaged with a local Tongan youth organisation. This organisation uses traditional methods to source and produce coconut and sandalwood oil, whilst also prioritising agricultural preservation and water purification efforts. Through our collaborative work with this youth organisation, we have been able to ethically and sustainably source the natural ingredients found in Feniu, whilst helping to provide Tongan youth with consistent employment and independence.
How can we incorporate ‘T Beauty’ into our routines?
It’s simple! The first product you’ll need is a Tongan Coconut Oil which can be your hero ingredient in your routine.
