One of our favourite homegrown, wallet-friendly, natural skincare brands – Weleda has just expanded its already extensive range and have introduced blemished skincare. Weleda explains that the way we live our lives is changing and these changes are impacting on our health, leading many of us to develop blemished and problematic skin.

Weleda believes in helping you to achieve your goal of healthy skin but without the added nasties that come along with other blemished skincare ranges. As always, using the power of plants, Weleda has developed a range of skincare that can help all skin types, from large pores and blackheads to shiny oily skin and blemishes that appear due to things like puberty, stress and just everyday life. This skincare range is said to support and restore sebum levels and reduce the level of bacteria present.

Weleda’s new range of products are, UEBT (Union for Ethical Bio Trade) certified for sourcing with respect and NATRUE certified natural.

Some of the ingredients found in this new range are organic Licorice Root Extract which acts as an antioxidant and antimicrobial, as well as Willow Bark Extract, known for both it’s antimicrobial and soothing and organic Witch Hazel Distillate which acts as a natural astringent assisting with soothing and toning skin.

Weleda’s new range includes the Blemished Skin Purifying Gel Cleanser, $28.90, which is formulated to reduce oiliness and shine by reducing sebum without drying skin. The Blemished Skin Refining Lotion, $28.90, which is a non-pore blocking fast-absorbing lotion, light and non-greasy in texture, it provides a long-lasting matte effect. Finally, the Blemished Skin S.O.S Spot treatment, $19.90, which is formulated to visibly reduce spots, helping to relieve pressure, redness and tension overnight.
