WE-AR Releases Rhyme for Winter

Looks from WE-AR’s Autumn/Winter 2017 collection.

Being comfortable and stylish go hand in hand at WE-AR and they’re set to release their latest collection called Rhyme on March 18th. The range for Autumn/Winter 2017 is full of effortless pieces that are designed with movement in mind and as always they are ethically and sustainably made.

Designer Jyoti Morningstar had a strong vision for her eco-conscious brand early on and it’s one that continues to resonate with her ever-growing group of customers who value her principled approach to fashion. With Rhyme she has created clever prints that mix ancient Japanese dying techniques (as seen in Shibu) with the modern twist of polka splotch, where dots are rendered individually with drops of ink on wet cloth. This charming print features on shirts and draping knitwear in soft tones of rose, grey and blue.

New to this collection is kale, a wholesome green hue that is seen on flannel shirts and 5/8 canvas pants for men and women as well as part of the polka splotch print seen on the boyfriend shirt. Throughout the collection softly structured pieces are paired with oversized, draped styles with has a cosy effect and you can imagine curling up comfortably or layering up for the cooling weather in these looks. There’s a subtle but definitely grunge feel in this range which draws on the 90s but is still very much of the moment. WE-AR wearers will be taking winter in their stride this season.
