WE-AR have just released two versatile capsule collections for Autumn/Winter 2018 that build a warm, layered wardrobe in ethical fabrics. Titled ‘Modularity’ and ‘Winter Deep’ each range is designed to be practical as well as stylish with luxuriously soft fabrics and textures to keep your body warm and comforted during the cooler months.
The collections feature beautiful organic cottons, soft cashmere, merino and silk that make for contemporary pieces that are easy to wear and perfect for layering. The brand’s foundations are in yogawear and designer and founder, Jyoti Morningstar, always designs each piece with ease of movement in mind.
“Our 2018 winter collections land, not as a story already told and quite complete, but as a turning. It’s a story told in chapters with an end not foreseen,” says Jyoti Morningstar. “In the first instance we are invited to clad ourselves in the softness of organic cotton and be at home in Modularity”.
This first capsule collection is full of ‘studio to street’ that are made for easy dressing with yoga bras, tanks and versatile leggings that are beautifully accessorised by cashmere socks, beanies, arm warmers and light cashmere scarves.
“As leaves curl on their branches and the morning air begins to bite, a new chapter is heralded. ‘Winter Deep’ whispers his return: a time to form alliances and to know the path that leads, through the darkness of long nights, to home,” adds Jyoti Morningstar.
The second capsule range features ribbed pieces, casual sweaters, coats and capes in softly spun pure cashmere and blends of merino and silk. Warm tones of khaki, charcoal, rust and gold are well-suited autumnal hues and elevate each look. WE-AR’s thoughtful blend of yogawear and streetwear will keep you moving with ease this winter.
