Tuesday Label‘s charming new Autumn/Winter 2020 collection is in stores and online now and features plenty of joyful options for work or play. Designer Biddie Cooksley wanted the collection to be fun and uplifting as winter can often be a bit dreary so she was determined to offer an optimistic range.
“Even though I love layering, I often feel that winter fashion can lack a bit of lustre,” says Biddie. “It can be all too easy for the dull weather to reflect in our wardrobes – which then impacts our mood. So, alongside our staple coats and knitwear we wanted our AW20 range to offer some excitement as well.”
The designer has taken some of Tuesday Label’s core favourites like the brand’s signature dresses and reimagined them in warmer fabrications that still feel a little bit special. Among the key pieces are the silver disco sequin Claire cami and Meredith skirt which are perfect party pieces and the 100% wool black diamond Saskia coat which is an essential for chilly weather.
Tuesday’s sense of optimism is carried through into the delightful colour palette for the season which includes striking hot pink linen, caramel chunky cotton cord; burnt orange wool coats and neon tipped merino knitwear. They work beautifully with the new range of gorgeous floral prints that are hand-selected by the designer and limited edition. The navy ditsy and lotus flower have been hugely popular so far this season, as have the linen rose and plum pie pieces. Tuesday Label have definitely succeeded in making Winter feel a bit more fun and oh so stylish too.
