Are there any new or emerging wedding decor trends that you’ve noticed in 2023?

After two years of postponements and planning stress, 2022 saw the long-awaited return of weddings in a big way, and many new and exciting decor trends emerged. For 2023, we can expect to see a lot more colour in florals, with many couples choosing to pair colourful blooms with neutral furniture palettes of white, wood, or black. Additionally, there will be a move away from arches, with many couples opting for draping, chandeliers, and low floral arrangements instead.

What are your three main tips when planning a wedding?

Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but here are three main tips to help you navigate the process. Firstly, start with a clear vision and theme for your wedding, which will help guide your decisions and choices. Secondly, set a realistic budget and prioritise what’s most important to you as a couple, which will help you allocate
your resources efficiently and avoid overspending on non-essential items. Finally, don’t forget to take care of yourself and your relationship throughout the planning
process. It’s easy to get caught up in the details, but remember that your wedding is just one day, and your relationship is for a lifetime.

What are some wedding dress trends for this upcoming wedding season that you have noticed?

For the upcoming wedding season, we’re seeing a rise in ethereal and romantic wedding dress styles, with soft fabrics such as tulle, organza, and satin. Many brides are choosing A-line and ball gown styles with more dramatic shapes, along with dresses that feature draping over the bodice or ruching skirts. Additionally, there’s been a
resurgence of Chantilly lace, which is both delicate and timeless.

What are some tips on saving money on your wedding without sacrificing style or quality?

There are several ways to save money on your wedding without sacrificing style or quality. Firstly, consider buying a pre-loved or sample wedding dress. We have a sister brand called Yours Truly that sells designer brands, including Trish Peng. Secondly, choose a venue that doesn’t require a lot of additional decor or upgrades, such as venues with natural beauty or architectural details that can stand on their own. Thirdly, opt for seasonal and local flowers, which are more cost-effective and eco-friendly than out-of-season blooms that need to be imported. Finally, keeping your guest list small and intimate will save on catering and other expenses.

What are some ideas for wedding entertainment that will keep guests engaged and having fun?

To keep your guests engaged and having fun at your wedding, consider interactive entertainment options such as photo booths and lawn games. Live music or a DJ is always a classic choice, but you can also incorporate surprise performances or activities that showcase your personality as a couple.

Are there any new or emerging wedding trends or traditions in 2023?

Some new and emerging wedding trends and traditions for 2023 include doing a first look for your bridesmaids and groom. Some brides opt for short mini dresses for the wedding or a change for the reception.

Do you have any advice for managing wedding day stress and staying organized throughout the planning process?

Planning a wedding can be stressful, but there are several things you can do to stay organised and manage stress on the big day. Firstly, delegate tasks to your bridesmaids and groomsmen to help with the planning process. Secondly, create a detailed plan with run sheets printed out so that everyone is on the same page. Finally, make
sure to take time during the wedding day for yourself and your partner, so that you can relax and enjoy the moment.
