Trelise Cooper recently released the first drop of her beautiful new Pre-Fall collection for 2019 and it’s truly sublime. As we’ve come to expect from the talented designer, the range is full of the prettiest dresses, most sumptuous suiting and so many covetable pieces your wish list will be many pages long. Trelise adores florals and this collection showcases some of the loveliest floral prints, delicately detailed embroidery and sparkling sequins that make for a floral extravaganza.
The colour palette is a real rainbow of hues (literally, as there is an actual rainbow pleated floral skirt which is a stand-out piece) and with everything from sweet pastels to bold brights there are colours to suit everyone. Blush, lilac, lemon, green, watermelon and red feature strongly in the range with tailored dresses in lady-like lengths, cropped jackets cinched in at the waist and pussy-bow shirting creating elegant looks. Full tulle skirts, faux fur jackets and sequined tees add a sense of playfulness to the collection while floaty floral dresses and ruffle trimmed tops bring a dose of whimsical beauty.
The designer always does large collections which cover everything you need each season and this range is no exception with everything from casual denim (albeit trimmed in lace as is Trelise’s style) through to fully sequined party dresses. It’s no surprise that Trelise Cooper’s clients are women of all ages as there is no age limit on having fun with dressing and enjoying wearing gorgeous looks every day. Because life really isn’t a dress rehearsal and any day is a good excuse to wear your new favourite frock.
