For something a little different, head over to North Shores Takapuna for a traditional Japanese Enzyme Spa. This deep heating ritual has been around for over 90 years, the dry spa consists of rice bran, pinewood sawdust and Japanese enzymes sourced from fruits and vegetables. It is said that the dry spa has many health benefits such as relieving tension, detoxifying the body, improving sleep quality, aiding weight loss, helping with muscular pain and improving digestion.
