Topshop opens in Wellington on Thursday 3rd November.
Topshop is expanding their presence in New Zealand with the their new Topshop Topman store at 256 Lambton Quay which opens this Thursday 3rd November at 9am. Their Queen Street store in Auckland enjoyed a huge opening day last March with thousands of shoppers queued up to get in the door and take advantage of the exciting offers and party atmosphere. Wellington's Topshop Topman is also inviting shoppers to join in their festivities with the first 300 customers through the door each receiving a mystery voucher valued at up to $1000. The weekend-long programme of in-store DJs, giveaways and activities, will bring the stylish world of Topshop and Topman to Wellington's city centre.
The new store is in the Capital On The Quay complex and covers 1200sqm over two levels. Topshop has a full offering of clothing, accessories, shoes, bags, and beauty on the first floor while a the Topman offering is on the second floor. “Wellington is a city known for style, so bringing Topshop Topman to the capital feels like a perfect fit," says Jamie Whiting, Group MD for Topshop Topman New Zealand’s operator Top Retail. "Having seen the excitement with which Aucklanders embraced our first store, we’re expecting even more of a buzz as Wellingtonians get to experience this quintessential London brand.”
Topshop Topman's arrival in the capital comes right as the brand are getting ready for their second year as sponsor of the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards on November 17th. This year's event hosts, Jono Pryor and Ben Boyce, will be dressed head to toe in Topman for their hosting duties, with the event’s stage ushers wearing Topshop on the night. This partnership with the VNZMAs is a key part of the commitment Topshop and Topman have to supporting local arts and culture in New Zealand.
