During the nail-biting final moments, Murdoch announced Kelsey Martinovich as the winner, only to announce moments later that actually Amanda Ware was the real winner. Murdoch looked suitably horrified, and you had to feel really sorry for her. The voting was incredibly close, and apparently the wrong name was fed into Murdochs earpiece. Ah, the perils of live TV.
But before you feel too sorry for poor Kelsey, at least Foxtel (the network that hosts the show) awarded her AU $25,000, and a free trip to New York. It could be worse!
