Timberland’s boat shoe heritage meets eco-innovation

Timberlands

The newest offering from Timberland

Timberland’s iconic handsewn boat shoes have been making a statement for almost 45 years, since launching in 1978.

This season sees the introduction of GreenStride comfort soles, regenerative leather and pairing the Timberland heritage with modern-day eco-innovation. The GreenStride EK+ is a reinvigoration of the classic boat shoe silhouette, combining the classic Timberland’s upper with a rugged GreenStride boot sole for an edgier look to the traditional aesthetic.

GreenStride comfort soles are made from a 75% combination of renewable sugar cane and rubber from trees, while the ReBOTL fabric linings contain at least 50% recycled plastic. The new styles are made using regenerative leather sourced from farms whose agricultural practices actually help improve the soil and restore the environment.

Just quietly, we’re crushing on the new chunky soles of the GreenStride Ray City EK+ and the Greenstride Originals Ultra EK+ , both of which join the line-up of classics in Timberland’s range which is available instore and online now.
