Allbirds was launched by US-based Kiwi Tim Brown and Amercian Joey Zwillinger early last year and the wool-based footwear company has rapidly built up a loyal following for its oh so comfortable shoes. Brown chatted  with Sonia Sly from Radio New Zealand’s My Heels Are Killing Me podcast about ethical fashion, the brilliant properties of fine merino wool that make it perfect for footwear and why Allbirds would never have been possible in New Zealand.
