During New Zealand Fashion Week 2018 FashioNZ presented a seminar on the future of fashion which featured some talented local designers and fashion industry insiders. The panel was hosted by Sonia Sly from Radio New Zealand’s My Heels Are Killing Me podcast and she has turned it into two episodes for the new season of her podcast.
The first episode features designers Maggie Hewitt from Maggie Marilyn, Tanya Carlson from Carlson and Kelly Coe from Augustine. Each has a unique perspective to offer from their own experiences in the fashion industry and together they share how they deal with the volatile side of the business, the role of social media in growing a brand and the importance of having something different to offer.
