The Collective celebrates all things hair

Creativity and innovation make the hair industry exciting and this weekend 25 international and national artists are together for The Collective to celebrate all things hair. Held over Sunday 6 – Monday 7 May at The Cloud in Auckland, the event promises an interactive two days full of education, fashion and hair inspiration.

Take part in creative workshops with industry professionals who will be showcasing the latest in global hair trends and fashion. Some of the biggest names in hair will be participating in The Collective including the amazing Tabatha Coffey who will utilise her unique style to teach you the importance of business basics and the salon emotion journey. Also sharing his knowledge is Redken Global Artist Justin Isaac who is nicknamed the Colour Ninja and is one of the top colourists in the world.  Colour technician and celebrity stylist Matthew Collins from Toronto, Canada is also taking part, as is Amanda Stevens who is a global thought leader on marketing, the customer experience and the future of consumers.

Sunday night is The Fashion Hair Awards which is the industry’s most prestigious event and is inspired by the fusion of fashion and hair and is brought to you by L’Oréal Professionnel. The show will be a celebration of the talented artists and designers of New Zealand with exclusive runway shows of never before seen capsule collections from leading New Zealand designers.
