taylor launches Collision A/W 15

L-Provisonal Top, R -Threadwork Particle Tunic

taylor’s autumn/winter 2015 collection, Collision draws inspiration from the entirely different shaped forms of noughts and crosses on a tic-tac-toe board and the way they interact; creating linear collisions.

Collision adapts the linear contrasts used in previous seasons and realigns them to focus on the interaction between two like objects that work either in parallel or come from opposing planes and collide. The collection focuses on redefining the classic winter silhouette by cocooning the body in warm wools, knits and beautifully draped silks.

With a dark and moody feel, the Collision collection introduces dark stormy blues and inky navys to taylor’s colour palette. These tones are highlighted and juxtaposed against the shades of white and cream.

As the season progresses the colour palette deepens, replacing soft cream and dust colourways with rosewood and icebox blue, and finally these colours merge into dark tones of deep merlot, ink and charcoal grey.

Collision arrives in store from the end of February 2015, with a capsule preview collection available from the end of January.
