Summer has arrived at Ruby, with a fresh drop of sublime new pieces for the warmer months reminding us that it’s time to get the sunscreen and beach hats ready for the hazy days ahead. We can always rely on Ruby for a great mix of daywear and party pieces with a selection of looks that can be added to your work wardrobe as well.
RUBY Gossamer Playsuit & RUBY Nectarine Gown
For summer the collection is called ‘Nectarine’ and designer Deanna Didovich drew inspiration from East London’s famous Columbia Road Flower Markets and the floral illustrations of Elizabeth Twining and Pierre Joseph Redoubté. As you would expect with that inspiration, it’s a collection bursting with florals and some gorgeous signature prints.

We love the colourful colour palette used, especially on the Nectarine gown which is the most perfect dress for summer occasions that we could imagine. The prettiness continues with the lovely Gossamer lace pieces and we would be hard-pressed to choose a favourite between the gown, shirt and playsuit in winsome eyelash lace. Please don’t make us choose between the black and white versions.

The easy to wear style of the Vanda wrap pieces also caught our eye and then there is an elegant orchid print to adore too. As you can tell we’re finding this collection impossible to resist and we’re sure you will as well. Summer is certainly going to be a delight at Ruby this season.
