Sirocco is the latest offering from moochi, with the sophisticated new summer range recently arriving in stores and online. The collection was inspired by the natural world with moochi looking to ‘an expression of the Earth’s layers and the undulating tides that carve their mark’ to create the Sirocco mood which is imbued in ruffled tiers, textural cotton and tonal paisley.
When designing the collection, creative director Kellie Taylor was drawn to contrasting structure and definition with exaggerated frills and rippling detail which gives Sirocco a cyclonic energy. The result is an elegant range in lightweight fabrics with plenty of volume and unexpected twists that are made for getting swept away.
Among the new season pieces are updated versions of beloved moochi styles that have been given a fresh take such as the shirty dress and esteemed styles. There’s plenty of relaxed pieces that are perfect for laid-back holiday looks as well as a versatile selection of garments that will easily take you from day to night. Speaking of versatility, the popular layer skirt has returned and is easily worn as a dress or skirt which makes it a great option for summer dressing.
