ROC eyewear know sunglasses are more than a style accessory but rather an indispensable part of daily life and have become innovative players in the modern frame game with their fresh and directional designs.
To get some expert insight we spoke to ROC brand manager Dani Smith to find out which frames we need to be ROC-ing this summer.
What are three of the strongest trends this summer?
Three strong trends for summer 2013/14 are definitely Revo lenses, They will work in any frame, we think our style Day is perfect!
Classic cat eyes are still strong, always fun, and now bolder and more extreme! Check out our latest cat eye the Monroe with a blue lens twist.
Third is the good old aviator, again put a killer revo lens in it, this looks amazing to head out to a festival, or just chilling on the beach. Elle’s from ‘they all hate us’ favourite is, ROCs Miranda.
How have the shapes changed from what we saw last summer?
Season changes are that styles are a little edgier, with more dramatic shaping, along with the trends, we also like to make sure ROC frames are wearable and comfortable to suite and fit most faces and shapes. Perfect example is our Calvin.
Are the classic pieces such as the wayfarer and the aviator style still featuring as strongly as they have in previous seasons?
The aviators and wayfarers are still definitely featuring strongly in all aspects and colours, Our best seller of all time is still amazingly strong.
What key colours and patterns can we expect to see on frames?
Colours to look for this season are monochromes, revo lens that are purples, blues, oranges and greens and of course you will never can go wrong with the blacks and torts.
What are the ‘MUST’ have pair that every girl should own this summer?
The must have’s are round frames with or without colour lens, You can’t go wrong!
