Tell us about your latest collection?
My latest collection would definitely be described as having a strong geometric influence featuring hexagons and solid bars.
What made you become a designer?
I have always been drawn towards creating things… my career started off in a different direction, but when I was given the opportunity to study jewellery design I grabbed it with both hands!
What inspires you?
Clearing my head! Going for a walk in nature allows me to stop overthinking and allows the creativity to flow.
Describe your personal style and how it influences your designs?
My personal style is more of a casual and simplistic style, I feel that shows through in my jewellery designs.
What is your all-time favourite purchase?
Actually it was my mother’s purchase, but since gifted to me. A Grosse´ ribbon necklace designed by Dior in 1960. It was her first purchase with her very first pay check. I have strong memories of her putting it on for a night out.
What wardrobe item should everyone invest in?
A great jacket, I have a khaki leather jacket that is a few years old now, but still my favourite.
Do you have a style rule you always obey?
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
The simple things have been the best, I love the texts and emails that I have received from my customers loving their jewellery pieces.
What can’t you live without?
I don’t think I could live without my family. I have an incredible husband that will spend a couple of days on the polisher for me when I am under pressure, and my twin daughters who help and encourage me with my designs and pop-up shops.
