Tell us about your latest collection?
Our latest collection ‘STILL I RISE’ has been inspired by women from around the world and is an ode to the determination, strength and courage of females both past and present.

Suzanne, Sojourner and Serena are the names of the 3 reversible pendants in this collection, each representing a female in history that tells a unique and powerful story. Symbols of strength, Protection, Motherhood, and Mother Nature have been represented in this capsule collection of 3 necklaces.

These new Necklace pendants, like all of our collections, have been designed to layer together, creating your own style ready to mix in with our pendants from SANTA CHIARA and other recent La Luna Rose collections.

Unique hand-carved pendants each with their beautiful meaning; these unique necklaces have been designed to be treasured for a lifetime and passed down to generations to come.

What made you become a designer?
My incredibly creative and passionate mum. I was the top of my class in hand-sewing aged 6! So I was kind of destined for some form of a creative career from the get-go. After studying Fashion Design I knew I didn’t want to add to the world’s over-consumption of fashion pieces and have my own fashion label so I turned to accessories which has led to Luna & Rose. By producing our Sterling Silver ranges in a completely closed loop production system means there is zero waste left over from producing our collections and ensures I have remained true to my core values.

What inspires you?
Life, Travel, People, Nature… mainly travel I think, hence why I have the itchiest feet and tend to visit another country every couple of months! I absolutely love experiencing new cultures and the personalities of the world.

Describe your personal style and how it influences your designs?
Feminine-Street with a touch of craziness? You can find me mix-matching bold prints, teaming a flowy dress with Cons and high-waisted jeans with a vintage floral shirt… and never without jewellery! I’m not sure… what do you call that style?

What is your all-time favourite purchase?
A gorgeous Karen Walker wool twill ruffle dress that is incredibly detailed in its tailoring. I purchased the dress in 2008 for my final catwalk at fashion school and I still love it just as much today as I did the day I (mum) bought it.

What wardrobe item should everyone invest in?
That’s a tricky one! Living in the tropics I have a slightly skewed perception of a ‘normal’ wardrobe but I am all about investing in quality, lasting accessories like a cute scarf, handbag/tote bag, shoes (I’m a shoe fiend) and of course, jewellery. With quality and timeless accessories you can make anything look unique and amazing!

Do you have a style rule you always obey?
I’m all about wearing whatever you personally love and feel great in. If you love it then it’s like my favourite quote by Roald Dahl “if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely”.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
All of it?! I’m a believer in the journey and that, really, there is no end, highest point, lowest point… it all just adds into the melting pot of what having your own business looks and feels like. Running your own brand is a roller-coaster and I absolutely love and feel so grateful to be able to live the life that I do here, guiding the brand and business to each next level and doing it all with a bunch of legends and meeting interesting people along the journey.

What can’t you live without?
RJ’s red liquorice logs with chocolate in the middle. Oh and my vintage denim jeans!

Finish this sentence – You would never catch me wearing…
Anything red. Controversial I know.
