We caught up with Rachel to find out more about her brand, what inspires her and what you would never catch her wearing!
Tell us about your latest collection?
On Reflection is a stylishly simple and elegant range. With clean lines, shapes and forms, and made from solid sterling silver and gold. Custom jewellery that is sculpted, textured, ruffled and finished by hand. These are quality pieces to be worn and loved every day.
What made you become a designer?
Probably watching my big sister do it first. We’ve always been a creative family. I watched her study design and create a successful career as an artist. This inspired me to pursue my passion – a career in jewellery.
What inspires you?
Different things at different times. In my work now I’m inspired by shapes, form, curves, couture fashion, fabric drapage and movement. I’m inspired by the world around me and the people in it.

Describe your personal style and how it influences your designs?
Casual, comfortable elegance. I like timeless fashion made from quality materials. Natural fibres for clothing and durable quality materials/metals for jewellery and accessories. I design and make jewellery that I love to wear so my personal style influences every design, though what my customer will like influences the design process as well.
What is your all-time favourite purchase?
My King Furniture couch we brought in Melbourne. We call it our transformer couch.
What wardrobe item should everyone invest in?
Jeans.
Do you have a style rule you always obey?
I’m not sure I do, as I love to mix things up. I must feel comfortable – from the tactile qualities of the fabric to the drape and cut of the garment or accessory. I like to look stylish but always feel comfortable.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Styling my first look book shoot was amazing for me. I really enjoy being behind the scenes putting things together that look beautiful.
What can’t you live without?
Family….coffee…..lipstick….my hairdresser.
Finish this sentence – You would never catch me wearing…
Dungarees (I really hope!)
