Marina Davis founded her contemporary womenswear label Ovna Ovich in 2012 and she is committed to making elegant clothing that is sustainable and environmentally responsible. Her work also explores narrative ideas and there is a sense of contemplativeness to her understated pieces. She named the brand after her own Russian heritage and it refers to the balance between masculine and feminine concepts in her designs, as Ovna translates to feminine in English and Ovich to masculine.
We caught up with Marina to find out more about her brand, what inspires her and what she can’t live without.
