STORM took centre stage recently to give a glimpse of the hottest trends on the runway at L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival to be held in March 2013.
Top Melbourne runway predictions revealed by the Storm design team range from androgynous and military-inspired styles to luxurious, lady-like pieces, all in a rich palette of seasonal tones.
Opulent
Metallic, berry tones, embellishment, flock, baroque, furs and textures…
Opulence is abundant this season with jewelled tones, touchable textures and intricate embellishments ruling the runway. Ornate trims, a smattering of sequins, metallics, jewels and elaborate embroidery complete the look.
Military
Khaki, army, olive tones, camo prints, animal…
Stand to attention and let army chic ambush your wardrobe this season. Make olive, gold and khaki part of your winter style arsenal.
A World of Leather
Jackets, pants, skirts, leather detailing…
Go hell for leather in edgy or ladylike pieces – be an urbanite with edge or someone more feminine. Whether you need a new biker jacket, leather skirt or want to channel your inner rock star and invest in leather pants, it is the look that will define your wardrobe this winter.
The event was organised by the unique and boutique travel agency network, Mondo Travel, who are offering packages to the event in March 2013.
