Looks from Staple + Cloth’s High Summer collection. Images supplied.
Staple + Cloth recently released their beautiful new High Summer collection called Brushstrokes and it’s as painterly as the name suggests. The collection is inspired by the artwork of owner and designer, Sharyn Condon’s partner, Gordon. He paints as a hobby and his individual expression through brushstroke combined with Sharon’s sharp eye for design created the charming Brushstroke print which is the key feature of the collection.
Gordon’s delightful painting was sent off-shore to a digital printer and transferred onto silk with the vibrant blue, yellow and terracotta hues making for some stunning fabric. It’s a special collaboration between Sharon and Gordon and their home is full of his personal artwork, that the designer can now wear too. The winsome print features on dresses, tops and a kimono making for gorgeous summer looks that are wonderful from day to night. High Summer is perfectly pretty at Staple + Cloth this season.
