Following on from their gorgeous Haveli collection last year, Silk&Steel have released Haveli Edit #2, a capsule collection of elegant jewellery. The designs are inspired by regal architecture from a trip to India, romance and rock-glam style, and features strong, modern shapes that have a timeless appeal. Haveli is the name given to mansions in India, usually ones with historical and architectural significance. Designer Sarah Cotterall has taken the top selling architecturally inspired styles of the Haveli collection and created a continuation of statement earrings, necklaces and rings in rhodium plated sterling silver and 14 karat micron gold plated brass.
“These beautiful cutout designs have been inspired by my recent trip to India, where I fell in love with the intricate architectural details and beautiful geometric designs found in windows and doorways of stately homes and palaces, which translate beautifully into a contemporary jewellery collection”, says Sarah Cotterall. “Following the success of the Stately designs, from our last collection ‘Haveli’, we decided to launch a small inspired capsule, to continue the story.”
The designer’s love of vintage jewellery and edgy-luxe style has meant this collection is beautifully detailed but still easy to wear. Whether the wearer wants to don a single piece or layer several of them to create a bold look, these pieces work well on their own or with pieces from Silk&Steel’s previous jewellery collections. Each piece is a limited-edition and has been handcrafted by artisans.
Silk&Steel’s Haveli Edit #2 collection is available online now and from stockists nationwide.
