Shiseido White Lucent Skincare
Since its launch seven years ago, Shiseidos White Lucent skincare has brought home the true benefits of brightening skincare.
In response to the rising demand for brightening products, Shiseido researched what women considered to be ideal skin and came to the conclusion women dream of vibrant skin that glows from within, with a bright and even-toned clarity – thats why the newest technology of White Lucent was born.
Shiseido succeeded in compounding their exclusive brightening ingredients with new, advanced technologies to produce a formula that helps to visibly diminish dark spots and uneven skin tone while targeting various types of spots and helping to prevent their formation.
This formula contains the brightening ingredient Multi-Target Vitamin C as well as their original ingredient 4MSK. This advanced ingredient helps to suppress the excessive production of melanin to effectively reduce spots and even out skin tone. Shiseido spent 13 years developing 4MSK and it was approved in Japan by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as a quasi-drug brightening agent in 2003.
The newly reformulated Shiseido White Lucent line consists of:
Intensive Spot Targeting Serum
Brightening Cleansing Foam
Brightening Balancing Softener
Brightening Protective Emulsion or Cream
Brightening Moisturizing Gel, Cream or Emulsion
The collection is on counter 12th April 2010.

Beauty blogger Megan Dunbar reviews 'White Lucent':
'Last month I travelled to the Shisedo counter at Farmers Albany, and had my 44-year-old skin analysed by one of the most high tech computers I have seen. It tested elasticity, hydration, pigmentation and texture.
Obviously after all those years in the sun my skin was rather damaged. I was advised to use White Lucent to correct some of the problems I was facing with my skin, and have since religiously used the range day and night ( the night use is particularly important as that is when your skin does most of its repairing.)
The revamped white lucent range promises to be really effective at brightening and fading pigmentation, sunspots and freckles, and even out the skin tone too. It now has powerful hydration and anti ageing benefits.
White Lucent contains NO bleaching ingredients as consumers automatically think these types of products do. It contains powerful and long lasting Vitamin C which is encapsulated to allow it to stay stable and work for longer (Vitamin C doesn't stay stable for long so its efficacy unless altered is not that good). The range also contains lots of other ingredients which enhance the fading of excess melanin and prevent the melanin from clustering and forming.
After using this new collection for only three weeks I started to see the benefits of the combined skin care range. I especially love the Brightening Protective Cream as it has a dense, stretchy consistencey with a SPF15 built in. The packaging is solid glass which I am sure will help keep the integrity of the product. It is concentrated so I believe it will last well.
A small tip: I left the products out on my bathroom counter instead of putting them in the cupboard and this reminded me to use the product how it should be used continually to get the desired results.
My skin feels divine and is starting to look brighter.
