The current Cameron Wilson shirt – The Floral Number $120
3 Wise Men have released the latest in their collection of limited edition shirts for the Cameron Wilson Trust – a charity they have partnered with since 2010.
The directors of 3 Wise Men, had a chance meeting with one of the Trustee’s of the Cameron Wilson Trust several years ago and the initiative caught their attention immediately. Its namesake, Cameron Wilson was born in Auckland, and survived cancer treatment as a one year old. He led a normal life, succeeding at school and sports, but his cancer returned and he died aged fourteen.
The Cameron Wilson Trust was set up by Cam's godfather, David Griffiths, to create a vehicle that, if successful in establishing financial resources, would not only preserve Cam's memory, but would make a difference to families of child cancer patients.
It became clear that the intentions of the trust were perfectly aligned to 3 Wise Men’s desire to support a meaningful New Zealand-based charity that distributes 100 per cent of the donations received.
The quarterly, limited edition “Cameron Wilson Shirt” was designed to add a little colour to the lives of youth cancer sufferers and their families. $20.00 from the sale of every Cameron Wilson shirt goes directly to the trust, and this year’s extremely limited edition 100 per cent cotton offering features a floral print in dark blue, light blue and taupe.
3 Wise Men Managing Director Richard Miles says “buy one of these shirts and know that you’re doing your part for this great cause – and looking good too. In fact, we suggest you dress the entire office, family, rugby club or street in these beauties, the Cameron Wilson Trust deserves all the help it can get to continue doing its incredible work with the families of child cancer patients in New Zealand.”
