Attention all makeup lovers, mark this date down in your calendar, 20th July 2019. Because this is the date that beauty giant Sephora will be opening its doors for their grand opening with an early morning party on Queen Street in Auckland.
From 7 am the festivities begin with the pre-opening party with DJ’s Soraya and Andy Heart Throb pumping out the tunes. The first lucky 500 through the door will receive a Zoeva Premiere eyeshadow palette valued at $49 and if you’re not quite quick enough to be among the first customers, don’t worry because there will be plenty of samples and goodies for you to take home when the doors open at 9 am. Sephora also wants to make sure guests are kept warm and cosy, so they’ll be handing out coffee and hot chocolates in sustainable Sephora thermoses and they’re even providing food to those waiting in line in the form of crepes, to pay homage to their French heritage, of course!
“I can’t wait to meet the crowds at the Sephora Queen Street Auckland opening,” says Sephora’s National Artistry Lead, Alphie Sadsad. “I can’t imagine a better way to spend a Saturday morning than grabbing a few beauty-die-hard friends and heading down to Queen Street to join the Sephora street party. A DJ, a double-decker beauty bus, big stages and samples. I might even treat the first in line to a special flash makeover!”
If you can’t make the opening day festivities, the Sephora double-decker beauty bus will be stopping in at Sylvia Park on the 17th July from 12-4pm and The Viaduct on the 18th from 12-4pm. The bus is a place for customers to touch, swatch and trial products from beauty lines including, Sephora Collection, Fenty Beauty by Rhianna, tarte, Huda Beauty, FRESH, Ole Henrikson, Kayali, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Zoeva, Ouai, Becca, IT cosmetics, Kat Von D and beautyblender. We’ll see you at Sephora!
