Sarah Bell recently released the brand’s new collection for Winter 2021 which offers a cohesive collection of wardrobe staples. Designer Sarah McNaughton has the philosophy that sustainable fashion works hard which means that the pieces are consciously made and designed to last for many seasons to come. They’re the garments that you go back to time and time again because they’re good quality, well-made styles with an impeccable fit.

For this season, Sarah Bell has released seven new styles alongside the brand’s signature high-waisted side-fastened jeans and romantic smock blouse. Both styles were part of the initial Sarah Bell launch in 2020 and have become popular garments. The collection itself is called Belonging which reflects Sarah Bell’s thoughtful approach to fashion. Each piece is carefully crafted using a multitude of techniques that showcase the designer’s 30 years of making garments for many leading labels.

Reading the garment descriptions will give you a glimpse into a craft that has seen other centuries, learned from the designer’s many years abroad; coin pockets with bound edges, rouleau loop fastenings, a kimono back sleeve detail, a sly half stand collar, box pleat openings, front top stitching. Sarah Bell’s designs embody the kind of craftsmanship that is becoming rarer but makes for clothing that is worth cherishing and handing down. This collection beautifully reflects Sarah Bell’s values – small, sustainable and perfectly formed.
