Ruby's Feeling Bohemian for Pre-Fall

Ruby is dancing into the pre-fall season with a beautiful new collection that has roots in the villages of Eastern Europe. Designer Deanna Didovich has drawn on her Croatian heritage to create her own take on bohemian style that is influenced by folk singing and dancing. This inspiration is seen in intricate handicraft details which is most notable in the crisp white cotton embroidery, an essential part of a folk dance costume.

The peasant style off-shoulder tops reference the cultural influences while the mini-skirts and t-shirting keeps things modern. Ruby are known for their playful party dresses and the halterneck styles of this collection are particularly appealing and easy to picture yourself dancing the night away in. This season's colour palette is a pretty mix of rose pink, cashmere blue, burnt orange, bottle green and navy complemented by a charming violet floral print.

Flattering feminine pieces juxtapose with boxy masculine-inspired styles for a look that is spirited and of the moment. Romance comes from the winsome dresses but something tells me the heroine of this fashion story is confident and more than capable of looking out for herself. No doubt Ruby's many sanguine fans will be clamouring to add a touch of Croatia to their wardrobes when this collection arrives in stores this Friday 15th January.
