This winter season, The Dreamers captures the moment in time when your mind is halfway between reality and dream. Inspired by director Sofia Coppola's cult classics and the melancholy-sweetness that they embrace, the RUBY Autumn/Winter 2014 collection pays homage to the rebellious and free-spirited youths of the 1968 student riots in Paris.
The collection is established with a heavy use of charcoal, grey marle and textured blacks, punctuated with hits of mustard yellow and cobalt blue. Further into winter, romantic pale pinks are offset by strong deep-sea greens.
A sun bleached tie-dye features as the prominent The Dreamers print this season on raw-edged denim, t-shirting and the softest fine knit scarves.
Metallic touches shine throughout the range, adding the charming and youthful element RUBY is so well-known for, with glitter spot velveteen and crystal embellished panels running down the sides of killer athletic trousers.
The RUBY Footwear range this season consists of four styles in suede and leather with embellishment details. Accessories are bohemian chic.
She is one part rebellious youth and one part wandering dreamer; traipsing through the urban landscape in her tie-dye jeans and marled Cocoon coat with her hair slightly dishevelled. She is the picture of youthful perfection.
