Looks from RUBY’s Incandescent collection. Images supplied.
Winter is on the way and RUBY‘s new collection Incandescent is a suitably joyful way to get through the cooler months. Creative Director Deanna Didovich wanted the collection to reflect the pursuit of everyday happiness and was inspired by the Danes and their way of winter living to keep spirits high during the cold nights. She designed the range with the idea of RUBY fans getting cosy with heart-warming winter activities and spending quality time with friends and family.
The collection itself features suitably cosy knits in charming hues of melon, khaki and banana yellow in sweaters and cardigans. RUBY have also created a pleated knit skirt and open-back sweater which introduces fresh knitwear options too. Prints are beautiful as always with the Luna print in ivory, khaki, and light blue on a soft pink base a perfect choice for a slip dress, A-line midi-skirt, and halter-neck top.
Workwear gets a modern update with the candy pink Matilda tartan in a boxy, double-breasted blazer and high-waisted wide-leg pant that have a fun 90’s feel. RUBY have always done great coats and this season offers the Sabine Coat in deep forest green and the Matilda Peacoat in black wool boucle with gold buttons.
Eveningwear is also a RUBY staple with slinky slip dresses and playful mini-dresses among the appealing looks on offer. There’s also the Bettina Cut-Out Dress in ivory and black satin which joins the range available for rental. Carrying on from last season’s rental exclusive, the Matilda Gown in incredible vermillion silk dupion is available exclusively for rental through RUBY x Designer Wardrobe.
