In celebration of change and endless possibility, RUBY are entering the New Year with their latest Motion collection. Aptly timed for release today in stores and online, the Motion collection is for the free-spirited woman, to reset and reboot. Designed to be enjoyed, RUBY has returned to their classic natural tones and light-weight linens, tempered by an injection of colour.
“If there is one thing that is constant in life, it’s change. I wanted to celebrate this with Motion,” says RUBY Creative Director, Deanna Didovich. “Often, I think we can become so fixated on life’s nuances; we forget how special it is just to be existing. How lucky we are to be able to experience change and grow from it.”
The Pascal Knit Tank, Cardigan, and Short most encapsulate this philosophy, showcasing the beauty in simplicity. Breathable fabrics and a loose-fitting design prioritise comfort and encourage any wearer to relax and unwind. Available in pink with red trims, the Pascal Knit counterparts are the perfect loungewear for a laid-back summer.
The return of the Mirella Puff Sleeve Dress is a stand-out amongst the collection and comes in a striking blue. Fully ruched, the garment offers RUBY fans designer chic with a playful twist. The Mirella V-Neck Minidress has the same effect, with ruched detailing creating the illusion of a belt.
The demure Great Pleat Minidress is another collection favourite. Available in black, the halter neck style is balanced by an open-back design and 60s silhouette that remains coquettish yet modern. With Motion intended to be lived, breathed, and danced in, the Great Pleat Minidress offers no better solution.
“This collection arrives at the height of summer, temperatures are high, the air is thick, and life is slow-moving and graceful. I wanted the collection to encapsulate an ever-lasting summer, where days turn into nights at the beach, with pieces that will take you right through,” adds Didovich.
