Resort season is in full swing and RUBY drop their new offering tomorrow with a beautiful collection called Sunny. As you would expect with such a summery title the range is full of all those perfect warm weather pieces that just beg to be taken on holiday. Relaxation is key with lots of easy to wear pieces in free-flowing styles that make for a versatile and casually pretty summer wardrobe.
The collection mixes up longer-length dresses and skirts with sweet cropped tops and cool tshirts for a playful look. Gingham is definitely having a moment and features on a floor-length shirt dress and shorts not to mention a cute shirred top. A charming blue floral gives a fresh feel to winsome playsuits and equally fun mini-dresses. It’s impossible not to be drawn in by the sun-drenched colour palette of orange, yellow, khaki and mustard that are complemented by the likes of blue and peach.
RUBY designer Deanna Didovich collaborated with New Zealand artist Marcus Watson on exclusive Zodiac illustrations for each sign in the zodiac calendar that are printed on a collection of simple cotton crew neck tees. The vibrant tops feature embroidery, velvet and glitter which are cleverly utilised to bring each design star sign to life in a whimsical way.
