RUBY‘s gorgeous new Autumn 2022 collection begins arriving in stores and online today with the range focused on connection. Creative Director Deanna Didovich admits that the idea of connection may seem contradictory given how life has changed since the pandemic began, but connection is more than just being in close proximity to one another. The designer states that in many forms, connection is more important now than ever, and many would agree.
The key looks for the range include the Donovan Tie Crop Top and Pant in khaki which feature intricate details combined with a utilitarian aesthetic. The brand’s beloved Marina Gown makes a welcome return, this time reimagined in the beautiful new Maude floral with pretty tones of lilac, pink and lemon. It’s a hero print for the range and appears in silk, chiffon and ramie on a range of styles. There’s also a strong offering of coats to see you through the cooler weather with the Basil Coat in a pastel check and the Scarlett Coat in a powder blue houndstooth both elegant autumnal options.
RUBY fans adore the brand’s Firebird pieces which were originally staple pants that are now evolving into new styles. This collection welcomes the next chapter of the Firebird, with the ruched Firebird Bodice and Skirt in green adding stylish new dressing ideas.
Coming back to the concepts of connection and community which are at the heart of the RUBY brand, this collection was formed through connection; connection to one another, to a time and place and to the RUBY community. Each piece is designed with that community in mind and the brand hopes those bonds with their community strengthen through this latest collection.
