An exciting announcement from RUBY today with the beloved brand partnering with lovable icon Hello Kitty on a sweet new collection. There is always power in duos and RUBY Creative Director Deanna Didovich believes the best things in life are better in twos. “Who better to collaborate with than Hello Kitty?” she says, “This collection with Sanrio has been so exciting; Growing up I collected anything Hello Kitty! There’s no doubt RUBY x Hello Kitty will be one to remember.”
Hello Kitty celebrates its 45th anniversary this year and RUBY have mixed the retro feel of the global brand with their own playful streetwear influence to create a covetable collection that will appeal to RUBY’s many fans. RUBY x Hello Kitty has a quirky charm and is full of vibrant hues and eye-catching graphics, the combination of the two brands is a perfect match and makes for an energetic limited edition range that is fun and fresh.

Both RUBY and Hello Kitty love a rainbow of colours and this collection delivers on vivid hues of pink, lime, orange, yellow and red that are anchored by Hello Kitty’s classic black and white. The streetwear features easy to wear oversized hoodies, textured sweatshirts and printed t-shirts with cute Hello Kitty motifs. The range includes new activewear in black that is made from ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated nylon fibre made from fishnets and nylon waste that helps reduce the global warming impact of nylon by up to 80%. Always one to perfectly accessorise, RUBY have designed neon glitter phone cases, a two-tone bucket hat and even a pink satin tote to complement your ensemble.
Alongside the streetwear are some gorgeous party pieces with RUBY delivering some perfectly pretty dresses with delightful bows. There’s also a beautiful skirt and bomber jacket in black satin that are made for exciting evenings out. Pink is a RUBY fave and the brand have utilised some lovely pink denim for a jacket, jean and miniskirt that are a great match with one of the RUBY x Hello Kitty tshirts. Adding a layer of warmth is a brilliant striped knit sweater in a sunray of hues.
