Resort has a vintage charm with RUBY

RUBY have just dropped their new Resort collection. Images supplied.

RUBY‘s fresh new Resort collection has just arrived in stores and online with everything you need for summer. Creative Director Deanna Didovich has named the collection Happy Hour and it’s a playful mix of modern and retro-inspired looks with RUBY’s signature charm. The designer has thrown back to the 50’s for a fun range of sundresses, tees, skirts and shorts that have a breezy feel and immediately evoke a holiday flavour.

There’s lots of light as air looks to covet with sweet blouses, calf-sweeping skirts and ruffle trimmed shorts that are perfect for the hot weather. The gorgeous dresses cover everything from casual sundresses to mini-dresses with plunging necklines and more ladylike 50’s inspired dresses. The two new prints for this collection are suitably summery with a winsome watercolour floral and a watermelon plaid bringing a joyful feel to the collection. They’re complemented by vintage-inspired gingham in navy and spearmint which has a suitably sweet feel with the addition of cute bows.

RUBY have brought their popular Zodiac t-shirts back with this collection. This time they’ve been created by co-collaborator Gattobravo who has also designed the 2019 RUBY diary. The light-hearted designs feature metallic embroidery and are oh so whimsical. They work beautifully with the rest of the Resort range and there’s no doubt RUBY have captured the laid-back vacation vibe with this collection.
