Designer Rebe Burgess has been creating a beautiful hand-made hat collection for several seasons now under her ‘Rebe’ label and has just launched her first collection of Italian boots today. Rebe prides herself on the high quality of her brand’s products and her new boots are hand-made in a small, family owned artesian workshop with a Vero Cuoio stamp. Each boot is carefully crafted from only the best Italian calf leather from local Italian tanneries and are an elegant design.
“I lead a very busy, colourful life, spending most my day on my feet running from A-B!,” says Rebe Burgess. “Like all my designs, I wanted my first boot design to fit effortlessly into the life of the modern women, something classic and sleek, but also comfortable. I wanted a boot I could wear from day to night… and from that was the birth of my first design – when I envisioned the perfect boot, this was it! The boot features a stacked mid-heel, hand-stitched sole, and finished with a soft leather lining. Small runs have been produced in both black and light taupe hues.”
The gorgeous new boots have an exclusive shape and design. The hand stitched internal sole makes for a lighter, flexible shoe which is more resistant over time and makes each pair a true investment piece. The boots retail for $895.00 in Light Taupe and Black and are available online and from Muse Boutique in Newmarket and Ponsonby.
