The new Autumn/Winter 2018 collection from R.M.Williams is out now and is a reflection of the brand’s signature rugged elegance and celebration of craftsmanship. Continuing the focus on the brand’s own archive informs the direction of this range with lead designer, Jeremy Hershan, re-introducing classic pieces with that have been updated and refined for the modern wearer.
This collection is full of the finest materials available with British waxed cotton, Yorkshire tweeds, Italian cloth and moleskin, American denim, and refined merino wool making for understated yet stylish garments. The suitably autumnal colour palette was inspired by Swedish photographer Hakan Ludwigson’s vivid medium format documentation of station life. Key colours include a washed black, deep indigo, pale smoke, bitter chocolate, saddle brown, taupe, tobacco, camel, olive drab, bone, russet, ochre and dusty pink.
R.M. Williams is always strong on footwear and the womenswear range sees an expanded footwear collection this season in the form of a variety of heel heights and new boots. Key styles for mens and womens footwear include: Saddle Stitch laceup boots, Stockman’s Buckle Boot,Gardener Full-Welt, Comfort Craftsman,Sydney and round-toe Turnout.
