It seems fitting that National Lipstick Day (29 July) comes smack in the middle of our New Zealand winter – it’s the perfect time to consider fresh lipstick options and perhaps discover a new best colour (or three) for your skin tone.
At FashioNZ, we’re always keen to test new lipstick offerings, so we’ve gathered a few of our current faves for inspiration from global brands to some of the impressive New Zealand offerings setting our lip love alight.
If you tend to stick to your ‘tried-and-tested’ faves, embrace National Lipstick Day as an excuse to try something new.
There’s an absolute jewel box of shades just begging for attention, plus the fact modern lipstick formulations often feature conditioning and moisturising care as well as anti-ageing and lip plumping ingredients. Go forth and play!
And just because we love to champion New Zealand women achieving in the beauty space, take a moment to discover Noir&Blanc lipsticks at blackandwhitebeauty.co.nz (creamy with a matte finish and the lushest deepest reds); natural mineral lipsticks from bellavicosmetics.com (vibrant naturalceutical lipsticks packed with organics); and wholly designed and made right here in Aotearoa, the richly saturated shades from dollfacenz.co.nz (oh and the leopard print packaging is reason enough to love this brand!).
