Two of New Zealand’s most conscious design brands have come together to create plastic-free products for the littlest fashionistas
Wellington-based Kowtow and Auckland-based Nature Baby have joined their collective 44 years of sustainable design practice together to create a beautiful capsule collection for babies and parents ahead of Mother’s Day.
Founded in 1998 as a family-run business, Nature Baby set out to create products that nurture babies, people and the planet. On a parallel trajectory, Gosia Piatek founded Kowtow in 2006 with a vision to create single-fibre products from GOTS-certified organic cotton, taking full responsibility for the life cycle of what they create.
This latest collaboration speaks to a shared vision for the future where fashion brands leave a light footprint on the earth, starting with products for the smallest customers.
The Kowtow x Nature Baby collection includes a matching cardigan and pant set in khaki melange, accompanied by the Willow Blanket: a cosy essential designed to keep parents and babies close and warm.
The baby set is available in sizes 0-3 month to 2Y.
The capsule collection is available now through all Kowtow and Nature Baby stores, and online at kowtowclothing.com and naturebaby.co.nz.
