Pip Blogs: Winter Wedges

I personally have always loved wedges as they can be sexy and stylish yet are surprisingly comfortable and give the legs great definition.

Simply add thick tights and wear with short skirts as a change from skinny pants and leggings. This season’s hottest wedges and why, below:

WOODSTOCK by Stuart Weitzman – this style is hot hot hot! Sold out within weeks, super comfy and right on trend as it comes in both black sport suede and this cool grainy natural shade. More are coming soon – your go-to boot for gigs.

WRAPPED by Sogni di Giorgia has just featured on the catwalk in Australian Fashion Week. Now being snapped up up savvy fashionistas in black, milky and caramel.

Yes its a super high platform wedge, but it doesn’t feel as high as it looks and its leg lengthening properties are sooo worth it!

JANE by United Nude features a stunning architectural wedge with an oversized maryjane buckle that is anything but schoolgirl!

BANAGI by French brand Arche features a crepe sole and is incredibly comfortable – in on trend khaki – oozing military chic.

ALICIA by Pons Quintana – I can personally attest that this style is super comfy and has a straight gumboot look perfect for everyday casual or weekends. Great for the more curvy calf.

ROSA by Pons Quintana is cut on a flattering v and features pretty gold appliqué leaves – a stand out style that looks beautiful on the foot – on a wearable mid wedge

DHARMA by Thierry Rabotin has more of a platform wedge and envelops the foot to give the feel of walking barefoot – the French designer’s speciality. Very reminiscent of famous shoe designer Robert Clergerie who Rabotin worked for.

GRETAL LAUREN by Clarks – the traditional t-bar gets a makeover in a super comfortable mid wedge from the iconic English brand– perfect for wearing to work if you’re on your feet all day.

WALKMEN by Stuart Weitzman – can he do no wrong?! Fashion and function come together in this sculpted platform wedge loafer in black microstretch fabric with an 80’s feel to it.
