Penny Sage recently released their beautiful new collection for Spring/Summer 2018 which is called Graceland. The collection “explores the tension of the beauty and vulgarity between life on the dry lands of the Mid-West and the neon-drenched glamour of Hollywood, both riddled with opportunity, confinements and unspoken expectations,” says designer Kate Megaw.

The result is a carefully considered range full of clever details and elegant silhouettes. On one hand Megaw has channeled the the spirit of a rodeo girl, which makes for unfettered dressing. It’s juxtaposed with more formal tailoring on denim suiting and perfectly cut dresses. Each piece is made from the designer’s preferred natural fabrics of soft cotton and silk in a luscious colour palette of berry, pistachio and cream.

Penny Sage’s popular Robin dress from last season returns in a winsome pink gingham which is a charming spring version of the green and blue, and cream and blue gingham that sold out quickly. The wide legged Flaneur trouser and matching June top in navy and cream gingham carry on the vintage yet contemporary feel of the collection. Buttoned crop tops and bias cut camis are beautifully teamed with denim shorts and a-line skirts for easy spring dressing.

Graceland is available now online via the Penny Sage Studio and from selected stockists in New Zealand, Australia and North America.
