Papinelle and Karen Walker released their third limited edition sleepwear collaboration this week which is full of beautiful blossoms. The brands first launched their charming collaboration in 2019 and the collection was very popular with many styles selling out quickly. This latest range for Spring 2021 features well-loved styles from previous collections in pretty new prints and some gorgeous new styles too.
“For our third collaboration, we wanted to dig deep into the Karen Walker print archives and found the most beautiful ’70s inspired Garden Floral that we created into modern sleepwear, as our ode to times gone by,” says Papinelle CEO, Renae James and Creative Director, Nicole Kelly. “This vintage floral together with Love Letter, a feminine print of Botanical Blooms, on silk and silk cotton in new beautiful shapes is a celebration of nature. We are in love.”
The range features pyjama sets, nighties and robes in a range of classic and contemporary styles with soft silks and airy cotton blends making the collection perfect for the warming weather. There’s also a winsome flutter sleeved dress which makes it easy to transition your loungewear into daywear.
“Our pyjamas are just as good for stepping out as they are for staying in,” says Karen Walker. “Sure, they look and feel sensational on the couch or under the duvet but they’re just as knock-out styled with Levi’s and Birkenstocks and taken to the street. Sleepwear as daywear continues to be our thing. With this season’s story our prints give you a super-chic field of wild flowers or a psychedelic, intensely coloured retro floral.”
