Rideshare company Ola has partnered with Zambesi to celebrate New Zealand Fashion Week 2019. Starting today and running until the end of NZFW on September 1st, Ola cars will be “dressed” by Zambesi in a bespoke adaptation of the brand’s tile print bearing their name. Ola is the official rideshare partner of New Zealand Fashion Week and  they commissioned Zambesi designers, Elisabeth Findlay and Dayne Johnston, to design high-fashion uniforms especially for Ola drivers that match the car tile decals.

“We felt that the tile print was the perfect way to integrate the two brands, creating a stylish synergy,” says Zambesi designer and co-founder Elisabeth Findlay. It will certainly make the Zambesi-clad Olas easy to spot and the designer rideshare cars are not just for official delegates attending the event, anyone taking an Ola ride in Auckland could be picked up by one.

“Our colab with Zambesi is all about helping sartorially-savvy city-goers get around town in the most fashionable rideshare in New Zealand, throughout the hectic program of shows, parties and events happening across Auckland during NZ Fashion Week,” said Brian Dewil, Country Manager of Ola New Zealand.

If you’re picked up by one of the Zambesi Olas you could instantly win a share of $50,000 worth of style-conscious prizes including NZFW tickets, Zambesi apparel and even an exclusive styling session with Zambesi designers Elisabeth Findlay and Dayne Johnston.

Ola may be a relative newcomer to the New Zealand rideshare market but Kiwis have taken more than half a million rides in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch since the brand launched here nine months ago.
